- The boat has the latest fishing gear, electronics, and safety equipment (Epirb, Type 1 life jackets, survival suits and life raft).
- It can take you up to 30 miles from the coast in search for trophy Bluefin Tuna and other deep sea species, or you can stay closer to shore and focus on Striped Bass, Pollock, Halibut, Black Seabass, and others. You can also go after a variety of Sharks, including Blue, Mako, and Porbeagle.
- Fishing License, Bait and Fuel are provided in the Charter Price there is no Surcharge!
How do I book a charter?
Booking your adventure with Salty Savage is easy. You can [contact us directly/link to booking page] to check our current availability. For most bookings, we secure your date with a deposit via our secure online payment system.
How many people can join a charter?
Per U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, we are certified to carry a maximum of 6 passengers per trip.
What is your cancellation policy regarding weather?
Your safety is our top priority. The Captain makes the final decision on whether it is safe to head out. In the event of unsafe weather conditions or mechanical issues that force us to cancel, you will have the option to reschedule your trip or receive a full refund.
Are fishing licenses and gear provided?
Yes, we make your day as seamless as possible. All necessary saltwater fishing licenses, premium bait, tackle, and high-end rods and reels are provided and included in your charter price. You just need to bring yourself!
Is your boat BYOB-friendly?
Absolutely. We are fully BYOB-friendly. We provide the cooler space and ice; you are welcome to bring your favorite beverages and snacks. We simply ask that you drink responsibly to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone on board.
Can I extend my trip while on the water?
We want you to have the best day possible. If you are having a great time and would like to extend your charter, please let the Captain know. Depending on the schedule and boat availability, we are happy to accommodate extended time for an additional fee.
Do I need any experience to fish?
Not at all. Whether you are an experienced angler looking for a specific offshore challenge or a beginner wanting to learn, our crew is here to guide you. We adjust our techniques based on the conditions and the fish we are targeting, ensuring a fun and educational experience for all skill levels.
OFFSHORE CHARTERS:
For offshore trips, we will travel 10-40 miles off the coast. You can fish for blue fin tuna, ground fish (haddock, cod & pollock) and even sharks.
INSHORE CHARTERS:
Coastal fishing trips can go around the sea coast or Isle of Shoals. You can fish for stripe bass, mackerel, pollock, etc.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
The boat provides bottles of water. There is a microwave, small fridge as well as coolers for food and drinks.
Food – Packed conveniently in plastic containers or plastic zip lock bags.
- Breakfast – Frozen egg sandwiches/burritos are a great option.
- Lunch – Sandwiches, Fried Chicken…simple and easy to eat
Alcohol – Light consumption of beer and wine is allowed. No glass bottles. No hard liquor or drugs.
Clothing – Appropriate clothing for the time of year. It’s colder offshore than on land. Sun shirt and Rain jacket are a good choice (A sweatshirt and pants are recommended to bring on all trips)
Footwear – Crocs, Rubber Rain Boots/Sneakers are best (No work boots allowed because of marking heel)
Sun Protection – Hat, Sunglasses, and Sunblock (Non-Spray)
Seasick Pill (we recommend taking before departure)
